PREPARATION

1. Remove dust, dirt and debris using stiff brush or broom.
2. Remove crusted rust or scaling previous coating by scraping or wire brushing.
3. If gravel roof, remove all loose gravel.
4. If roofing is dried out or if surface is concrete, prime with same brushing coating thinned down with mineral spirits.
5. Repair cracks, breaks and opened seams by applying heavy coat of trowel on material 8" wide into which embed 6" wide saturated membrane.
6. Apply second coat over strip.

APPLICATION

After the preparation and all repairs are made the entire area should be coated to seal off any small holes that may have been missed. This is done by brush or mastic type spray gun. On very, very badly worn roof apply initial coat over entire roof into which embed 36" glass roofing sheet, overlapping 4" on sides and ends. Follow with top coat.
