This
vapor suppression product is designed for use by fire departments, port
authorities, sewer treatment plants, industry and municipalities to reduce the
fire hazard associated with flammable liquid spills. This surface active agent emulsifies fuels and hydrocarbons
with water quickly and safely. Fire hazard is
significantly reduced by the resulting vapor suppression of any flammable or
combustible vapors. This
biodegradable formula contains no alcohol, solvents or petroleum distillates. EASY
TO USE DIRECTION This vapor chemical must be applied to the spill with sufficient agitation to break up the slick. Agitation may be by mechanical means or by the action of the hose stream. For small spills: apply directly to the spill area with a hand sprayer, then flush thoroughly with water. For large spills: on water, inject this vapor suppression chemical into hose stream with standard inductor equipment. Do not use with a foam nozzle. |
