This innovative drum handler is designed to easily move a rimmed 55-gallon drum onto and off pallets up to 6" high, and to move drums around your facility. It is an ergonomic, simple-to-use, and economical way to transport drums.
This unit can lift a full drum up to 800 pounds. It will maniuplate most 55-Gallon Steel, Fiber, or Plastic Drums. The drums need to be within 22" to 23.5" diameter and 34" 36" tall. It rolls on two 6" polyolefin wheels at front and 2 4" rear swivel casters for easy steering. The height with the handle raised is 74.25" and 47.25" with the handle down. It has a total length, including handle, of 43.5".
Simple to Operate
To operate this unit, simply roll the drum spotter to the drum. Lift the handle so the alloy hook engages the drum below the rim. Lower the handle to raise the drum. The length of the handle provides leverage to lift heavy drums. Once drum is raised, ratchets maintain handle position. The drum stays upright while you wheel it away. The base has a built-in counterweight for stability. Then you simply transport the drum to the pallet or floor.
