Portable Drum Rotators.
Compact, portable, industrial drum mixer and drain stand rolls closed drums to agitate the contents without opening the drum! Mixing in a sealed drum eliminates worker exposure and reduces clean-up. Utilize important ingredients that would otherwise remain unmixed sediment.
Morse Portable Drum Rotators can handle drums 6" to 28" in diameter and up to 40" tall. However, the tipping lever will only engage a drum 30" or taller. The Capacity of the rotator depends on the model, but generally they can handle 500 pounds of Liquid Load and up to 400 pounds of dry load. A shifting dry load exerts greater stress on the drum rotator. Specify the drum RPM and motor type when ordering.
The unit stands just 19-1/4" and 21" wide by 34 3/4" long. It comes with a built-in, retractable tipping lever to assist loading. The drum rotator also doubles up as a drain stand to empty the drum. The motor is protected by enclosed sides. Motors are available as AC single or 3 phase, explosion proof, and air powered.
Available Units:
Portable Drum Rotator - 201 Series
Choose this model to rotate drums at a single speed of 10, 20, or 30 RPM.
Variable Speed Portable Drum Rotator - 201VS Series
Similar to the 201 Series, but transmission allows you to vary drum speed from 10 to 24 RPM. Ideal for experimental use.
Belted Portable Drum Rotator - 201B Series
The belted drum rollers have a pair of belts between the rollers to turn the drum. Belted Rotators allow a fiber drum weighing up to 300 Lb to be rolled without damaging the fiber sidewall. 201B Series belted drum rollers are available with same drum speed and motor types as 201 Series.
Options:
Option 1-5P Can Idler Attachment for 1 to 5 Gallon Cans.
• Extends the usefulness of the rotator to handle 1 to 5 gallon cylindrical cans.
• Comes complete with adjustable spacers and mounts.
• Optional for Models 201 and 201VS rotators not for model 201B.
Option POLY-201 to roll a plastic drum.
Plastic drums are soft-sided and lack the ridged ribs and rims of a steel drum. They require special features to position them on the drum roller, and to prevent them from traveling lengthways during rotation.
Includes:
• Three extra wheels on each side support a 55-gallon plastic drum. The weight of your plastic drum is then distributed over a total of 14 wheels.
• End stop to prevent a plastic drum from traveling lengthways while being rolled.
• Chain to latch around the top of the drum while tipping from upright to horizontal rolling position on the drum rotator. The chain should then be released during drum rolling.
